Fees
(No fees unless there is a settlement
or an award)
1) Fees for cases
in USA
For USA cases that do not involve legal or civil
action, you will receive a fixed percentage (40%) of the settlement or
award amount.
You do not have to pay any up-front fees. If there is
no settlement (or award) for any cases, you do not pay any
fees. To find out USD$ we have obtained for our
clients, please
email us at support@sharewarejustice.com.
Fees during civil action (lawsuit) in
USA
You have a choice
to pursue civil action (lawsuit) against multiple known infringers who refuse to
pay, as well as unknown companies and people hiding behind
ISPs. To find out the identities of infringers hiding behind ISPs such
as, Verizon etc., a
copyright attorney needs to first
file civil action on your behalf.
This is a very time consuming work for the attorney.
We will find an attorney who agrees to work
on a contingency fee based on the final award amount.
Usually, you get up to 40% of the final
settlement or award. We charge fees for services,
only if
you receive an award.
2) Fees
for cases outside USA
Every country has different copyright laws. In most
countries, it is more difficult to pursue copyright
infringement (than in the USA). These countries include
Canada, China, Taiwan, India, Japan, UK, Germany, France, etc..
Consequently, the attorneys in these countries may charge at
a higher rate; therefore prevents our clients to obtain
40%
of the settlements or award. However, we will only refer you to
attorneys who agree to work with you on a contingency
basis. This reduces your up-front risks.
In some countries, the law specifies that attorneys cannot work
on contingency basis. That is, they have to charge
fees by the hour.
We
do not charge fees unless there is a settlement
or an award.
The fees we quote you (by Country) are a percentage of the
final settlement or awards.
If you prefer to pay hourly legal fees and services
fees, please let us know. We can provide you a best rate.
